the stay was good. gorgeous hotel with excellent wi-fi, the location was amazing right down the street from the beach. location: the property was close to unawatuna as well as a tasty bakery selling french pastries. it was very close to the yellow restaurant, where you can have lunch.

I recently spent 3 weeks at Happy Coconut and it was the perfect choice for my vacation. The staff, including Lana and Oxana, were incredibly friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and excellent AC and wifi. The location was superb, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants and shops. Happy Coconut quickly became one of my favorite accommodations during my 16-night trip in Sri Lanka.

It is also situated in a safe area, nestled in the jungle which adds to the overall ambiance. the room is comfortable and clean, with amenities such as air conditioning, wifi, and a mosquito net provided. the attentive staff ensures that the room is cleaned daily, creating a pleasant environment. the breakfast options are delicious, offering a variety of choices to start the day off right.

There were some issues with the wifi connection, which can be attributed to the overall Sri Lanka issue rather than the hotel itself.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the location of this hotel. It was situated right on the beach road, making it convenient for me to explore the nearby shops, restaurants, and of course, the beach. the room I stayed in was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a mosquito net. I also enjoyed the shared veranda and kitchenette, which was a great space to relax and observe the cute chipmunks and monkeys after a long day in the sun.

the staff wasn't very informative or helpful when it came to providing tips and guidance about activities and distances. the bathroom could have been better in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.

I also had the chance to admire the beautiful garden view from my balcony, where I even spotted some playful squirrels. happy coconut was an unexpected delight! from the helpful staff to the delicious pancakes, everything was perfect. the room had a kitchen, warm shower, and a peaceful balcony. the location was convenient and we had a great tuktuk driver. unawatuna exceeded our expectations!
